About Me!

My name is Michael J Bowman, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Home of Beyoncé, Wes Anderson, and many Whataburgers.

My dad was a doctor and my mom was a teacher.. Boring titles. More importantly my mom was a listener, and my dad was a storyteller. He could talk for hours on the same story and I couldn’t help but listen, and not just because I was trapped in the car with him. His stories inspired me to tell my own stories. 

When I was in Junior High, my mother was also my soon-to-be high school counselor. So when I was registering for classes for my freshman year, I knew that I DEFINITELY wanted to do some Tech theater. So she took me to the high school’s performance of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and I fell in love. Not with the tech though… I left the theatre, looked at mom and said “I’m going to do that. I’m going to be an actor.”

The rest- as they say- is history.
