About Me!

My name is Michael J Bowman, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Home of Beyoncé, Wes Anderson, and many Whataburgers.

My dad was a doctor and my mom was a teacher.. Boring titles. More importantly my mom was a listener, and my dad was a storyteller. The characters in his stories inspired me to make characters of my own. 

When I was in Junior High, I knew that I DEFINITELY wanted to do some tech theater. So my mom (soon-to-be my counselor) took me to the high school’s performance of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and I fell in love. Not with the tech though… I left the theatre, looked at her and said “I’m going to do that. I’m going to be an actor.” And so I did. I joined my High School’s theatre club and fell in love with the craft immediately, and haven’t stopped since.

I have been studying and practicing acting for the last decade and I will continue to do so as long as I can. I love bringing characters to live and being in front of an audience or a camera and existing in these exciting, interesting worlds, and I look forward to continuing that work as long as possible.
